Dear Dishhead,
First off, thanks for your continued, solid support of The Weekly Dish. It’s made the last two and a half years possible — and more. And it also helped us build and hone the Dishcast, which is thriving beyond my initial expectations — 102 episodes and counting. I’m having fun, in case you hadn’t noticed.
And that’s why I’m writing. This week, for the first time, we’re reserving the entire Dishcast for you, our paid subscribers. The first half or so will remain free to all, but the rest is yours exclusively in a new private feed. We wanted to increase the benefits for our paid subscribers, i.e. you, because you deserve it.
The only catch is a little bit of hassle to start with. To access the full Dishcast from now on, with no interruptions, go to andrewsullivan.substack.com/listen (make sure you’re logged in). There you can sign up for the private podcast feed. It’s a very quick setup, and you only have to do this once. Then you’re good to go. I wish we’d been able to avoid even this little thing, but it turns out for technical reasons I can barely understand, let alone explain, we can’t. (If you run into any snags, you can always reach us at dish@andrewsullivan.com.)
This week, by the way, we’ve got Matt Taibbi, which got a bit wild at times, and next week, the one and only Rod Dreher.
So sign up now for the private feed: andrewsullivan.substack.com/listen — and don’t miss a thing on Friday.
In Dishness,
Andrew and Chris
